Caim, Co. Wexford
| This photo shows the chimneys at Caim, west of Enniscorthy in Co Wexford.
This lead zinc mine has little to see now apart from the two chimneys, some
collapsed ground above stopes or adits and the spoil. This sandy spoil is
being re-used locally as a weedfree grave covering. The mine was worked
from about 1818, abandoned, reopened in 1836 and abandoned before 1846.
