Dhurode Mine - There are open cuts on the lode, and a number of capped shafts . The photo opposite shows the magazine in the foreground (M.Parkes). This copper mine was worked 1844-1846 and probably again between 1860 and 1865, and temporarily revived in the every early 1900s.
